AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW
Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for and only for a major failure (e.g. electrical failure in the battery, motor or charger) and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Returns
Electric Bikes
Returns for bikes purchased in our physical location are not acceptable, only if the product shows major failure (e.g. electrical failure in the battery, motor or charger) and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
For Online orders, bicycles will only be accepted back within 14 days of purchase and only if they are new and unused.
The postage costs to return the bike are payable by the customer
Our warranty will only cover parts, labor cost involved on replacing or reparing parts are not covered by warranty.
NOTE: Failure to properly assemble the bike or adjust the parts is not covered under warranty. In such cases, if you decide to ask a third-party technician (e.g. a bike shop) to make the assembly or do the parts adjustment for you, fees incurred will not be covered under our warranty.
Everything Else
A 15% restocking fee is applied to products purchased directly from movebikes.com.au and that are returned within the 14-day return policy. Returned products must still be sealed in brand new condition.
Note: Restocking fees are not applied when a product is returned due to a defect.
